Hi loves! hows it going? Hope u guys had a fab weekend. Mine was fab too.. mostly spent time on my beloved comfort fluffy bed due to my flu! (haha.. the body has ordered me to rest! woops) Good thing is; hubs pampered me by cooking + house chores. Hi hello all.. its been awhile since i last blogged. So many happenings.. and now im trying to update as much as i can. Well.. hows the hols for u guys? hope its all gooood.
Nways had a School seafood reunion on FT day Feb 1st.. It was awesome and food was yummmmss..

Been knowing these girls since primary school (or since sekolah agama).. haha.. its fun to hang & Jalan jalan cari makan. (not forgetting the sesat ness and the laughters.) Till our next Jalan jalan cari Seafud :)

A moment of Silence- not for long

Ola ola loves. Hows it goin there? hows the CNY hols. hope u guys havin a fab time. For those of you already started working, dont fret - we got another hols coming up soon.. just 1 week away heehee...
As for me, havent been writing much lately. So much has happened the past few weeks; sometimes i dont know where to begin. Ooops. maybe cos i went away tooo long. haha. okays Note to Self: better not to disappear too long. hahah. will try.

Moreover sometimes life events & happenings make you realize and cherish how beautiful life is; no doubt making u down to earth and appreciate the fragility of life there is. Well i guess someone must have gone through something to have felt the humbleness that crawls deep inside within them. And although not all learnt the lesson well, for some, life is just a part of dream, or felt like a dream so; one just go with it (the way it is); until one day they got awaken from that dream. Or some who Dare to dream but disapproves other's success. They just don't want anyone else to succeed/ do better than they are. And quietly, cunningly they bring them others down with them... And there were few; refuse to accept the way it is because they knew they had higher-calling and were destined for something greater in this life. They knew life becomes more precious; and they worked harder and do their best to achieve whatever they seek to accomplish. Well maybe the next question is: Which one are we? The Dreamer, The Dream Stealers or The Accomplish-Seeker? Maybe we ought to ponder right?

And what more can we EXPECT from this life? have we all Achieved what we want to do? What is stopping us from taking that One step? Is it a small one or HUGE life-changing step? Can we manage the situation? the consequences? the events that occur from that decision?

Ahhh... decisions right? each choices made lead to a different path. Different paths lead to different fate. So it is true indeed, We are the Master of our Life; we are the pilots of our plane; the captain of our ship.
(Although life has uncontrollable outside forces (in Islam we call it Fate/Qada' & Qadar) still doesnt mean we should let life passes us by.

Too many times we just sit and let time flies. and yet we do nothing to create the life we seek, we want. For those of you's chasing dreams, doing something, making life changes; i must congratulate you. As long as the fire of your passion is burning within you; keep yourself going. Cos you never know how close you are to fulfilling that dreams.

There will be times life gives us a huge setback, bad enough to make us want to give up; probably broke our spirit and surrounds us with mountains full of negativity - everything what would make us doubt our capabilities and even back down from those dreams. So i say - dont give up just yet. Its difficult; tough yet brutal times - but it wont be worth chasing if hadn't those challenges appear at the first place, right? So - life is tough- but who says we aint survivors?

Let's keep on going ya? Remember: Its how we pickup the pieces after we fall that determines our Success.

Hi Sweets. how was your holidays..? arent we all in holiday mode these days? especially with the New year approaching and the finishing end year leaves on the agenda? haha. me too. err holidays ..not so much. But im sure im enjoying every minute of the laid-back end year routine.. and of course with sales all around us and good deals everywhere..-- whats not to like the end year? heehee

Anyways my mood pretty much ok already after a lil chaotic in my work department. Hmm.. Although i dont want to parade alot of stuff here or create a scene, somehow there's actually alot of stuff we learn after a conflict. And sometimes through admitting our flaws and mistakes; we can move on and strive to be better individuals.

Im also learning a lot about teamwork & leadership. Sometimes its not easy task as it seems. Taking charge and making sure everything & everyone functions well is a vital part being the team leader. and other times also sucks when u're the first one to be blasted at by the bigger boss. haha.

But overall, we get to shape what kind of team we want. Cos life makes from a team. No success comes from just one person. One man success is always another's support. So, in the end we gotta accept the 'hikmah" blessing behind a situation. Funny, god has its ways to make us learn something from someone through an odd situation. Point is- are we willing to learn?

There will also be those who walked on the earth proudly, singing their praises as if they were never wrong at the first place. There are also some who admits of their past and vow to change for the good. Question is; have we all changed despite all? Is change that inevitable?

Well there goes my early morning ranting. thanks for listening/reading you guys. Hope the rest of you-s having a better week - and awesome holidays. Well. life is life. too short to waste on little petty stuff.
Sometimes its the ugly times that makes us appreciate the good times.

Salam guys. Sorry havent been writing the past weeks. Sometimes i feel like there's not much to write or perhaps writer's block keep creeping over me. Haha. also it could be at times i just cant find the right words to explain - or perhaps the right mind to write --- (gotta be in the right mind set right?)

Anyways jus wana recap mane2 yang sempat hehe.

Last 2 weeks had been super whirlwind for me! okes, let me rephrase them. "Super Tornado" hehe.

My sis (ms Dd) gave birth to a healthy baby girl & yahoo im a proud aunty!. Basically we call those times havoc or angin taufan cos parents wasnt around during the birth. So imagine the panicky, the kelam-kabutness and situation we had to swallow all together at once. Inexperience & blur become learning & lead. hmm.. Somehow god has a way to make us grow up. Plus the irony part, he has this brilliant ways to make things calm after a storm too.

In the end we all did ok. we did OK like we could and i managed to take up he challenge alhamdulillah- So, we all turn up ok. Even my niece turns out ok (alhamdulillah). So guys, in the event of a difficulty, always remember, Allah wont give u something if he thinks you can't cope with it. There is always a reason in everything it is. Percaya tak Qada & Qadar?...

So now Ms Dd is in pantang, baby Sophia is free of jaundis, hubs back on his bertukang-mode and me?.. hehe im back with lotsa of ideas & inspired. Sometimes; we get inspired at the oddest and weirdest times. Like Dad always say; "Always look at the positive in the negative - insyallah.. we'll get where there."

Like i once said in my previous postings; Life makes more meaning with Passion for Love, desire & Living. (or maybe i put in similar way lah)

Maybe at times, we are wondering & searching for our true purpose. And to those who found em' - aint u lucky you already figure out what u want to do. But for the rest of us; still searching - still looking .. dont give up just yet. Its only when we continue to have faith in ourselves - somehow the opportunity will present by itself... (even at the strangest moments)

Like yourself, im always a big dreamer. I often imagined myself as this successful entrepreneur.. and although they say getting there is not easy - still hasn't make me quit dreaming or getting inspired. But sometimes gotta plan your moves too..kan? dream, dream and doing nothing; not gona get us anywhere right?

And so i hope insyallah there will be that chance to make those dreams come true. I hope your wishes come true too. Someone wise once told me (requote-ing ms Dd) "You dont have to see it to believe it. Its all comes from within"

Hi all.. i got so excited when i read the latest news: Buckingham Palace has confirmed the Royal's travel plans and.. they are coming to town! huhuuuuu ..

Omgggoshh this is so rare.. for royals to suddenly pop by our nation! hehehhe im super super psyched.. definitely i foresee myself as one of their stalkers.. soon... hehehe nways for those of you want to know what's goin on - go on & read ..

On last wednesday, Buckingham Palace announced the Royal Family’s travel plans for Queen Elizabeth’s diamond jubilee.

Charles and Camilla will arrive in Canada in May as part of the global tours by members of Britain’s Royal Family to mark the Queen’s 60 years on the throne. They’ll also be heading to Australia and the Channel Islands. Prince William and his new wife Kate Middleton, who toured Canada in the Summer, will be heading to Malaysia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.

Here’s a look at what else is on the Royal itinerary.

The Royal Family will mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee by touring the globe in celebration, Buckingham Palace announced today.

Senior royals will visit the Queen's 15 realms - nations where the sovereign is head of state - major Commonwealth countries, and other destinations with close links to the UK next year.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's trip to Malaysia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu on behalf of the Queen is likely to attract the most interest.

Tuvalu has not had a major royal visit in decades and William and Kate are likely to bring the tiny South Pacific islands to a standstill.

When the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh toured the remote nation in 1982, they were carried shoulder high by islanders into the capital Funafuti as they sat in canoes.

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will travel to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea as part of the celebrations while Prince Harry will tour Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

Harry's overseas visit will be his first solo trip on behalf of the Queen and may see him use it as an opportunity to stage a fundraising polo match on behalf of his Sentebale charity.

The host countries are likely to stage a range of events for the visiting royals to mark the Queen's 60-year reign, from official banquets and public celebrations to events that showcase the individual nations.

The Queen and Philip will remain in the UK for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations but make an extensive tour of every region supported by the Royal Family.

The Queen will be 86 in April and the Duke, who turns 91 next year, has already publicly stated he is reducing his workload.

The overseas visits also include Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories and will be carried out throughout the year, although dates for the trips and details about royal engagements have yet to be released.

The Duke of York will visit India, the Princess Royal Mozambique and Zambia, the Duke of Gloucester the British Virgin Islands and Malta, and the Duke of Kent the Falkland Islands and Uganda.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex will tour the Caribbean, visiting Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, with an extra visit to Gibraltar.

Charles will make an additional trip to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The details and timings of the visits are still under discussion with the host governments."

The Queen and Duke's regional tour will take her to north London on March 29, Wales April 26-27, South West May 1-2, south London May 15, North West May 16-17, and national celebrations in the capital from June 2-5.

From June 13-14 the Diamond Jubilee tour will visit the East Midlands and East Anglia, and South East June 25, with a return visit on July 25.

The royal couple will visit Scotland from July 2-6 during their traditional summer stay at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, West Midlands July 11-12 and North East July 18-19.

The dates for Northern Ireland will be released later.

Sunday Chill, a Multifilla review & can't get enuff of Hot&Roll

Salam everyone. its been awhile since my last babble session. How u been? hope all is well..
ive been good too alhamdulillah. Life is much calmer these days. I suppose; life after a hurricane & puting beliung wasnt that bad after all. Somehow i believe we were put in a certain situation for a reason. And to top it all, Allah wont put us in a challenge if he knew we cant survive the test. so Insyallah...

So since its weekend, i would love to extend my blabs to day. Its nice to just laze on the bed... doing nothing. hehe especially when u had a round the clock week. so relaxin' is just so nice --

Anyways had a busy day yesterday; was up since early and we even went to an Art Supplies warehouse called Multifilla in Balakong (lately hubs &; i started berjinak2 into these creative DIY proj). The warehouse is quite far from city; about 3km from Mines Shopping and warehouse are so much- like factory roads area.

At first From the outside; it did looked kinda like a dodgy place but once we got in, it was nice to see heaps of art stuff they got. So i was generally excited and start looking into what to get. The place was run by an elder couple and at first they were quite friendly to recommend some supplies. Overall we spend 3hours plus in the store & left with a compact box of art. Tips to new-goers: Since the store is run by elder, suggest to get opposite gender in helping u get your stuff. They have quite a number of supplies & price range is so-so. But like other bloggers have said; they can be quite expensive here &; there. Make sure u check what u get & don't end up bringing home more than u need (we paid for an extra brush worth RM18) Plus more items are already in deals (like buy 10 get 1 free) and they wont give u further discount even if u buy RM500 above (unless u're their...).

So retailers; do take note. Never under-estimate the purchasing power of a buyer. Just because they came once & splurge; doesn't mean they will return if you don't treat them well. Sometimes its more beneficial to be kind to them & give some less (even RM10) then they dont mind coming back (after all retailers' gain & no point being lan-si) especially when comes to purchase in bulk - yes; the small bargain counts. Even SSF (big stores) Kaison etc often give discounts & bestbuys.

As for us, we bought quite a number of things & some store will give u 10% for big volume purchases. So, upon leaving; i felt uncomfortable cos the aunty sort of forced me to buy what she recomended (quite annoying actually) and moreover we had a lazy feeling to return to the store again - of course maybe the distance, travel & the lan-si-ness discount wasn't worth the second round.

So thats for the Art shop review. Besides all that, i got another awesome savory i'd like to recommend. hehe
We sooo cant get enough of the crispy Hot & Roll thin pancake. These yummers come in savory crispy pancakes to pratha. From just curry to chicken & cheese to sweet savories like peanut, banana etc.. (they're affordable too) (Website: hotandroll.com )

Lately u can see em' blooming everywhere like mushrooms... They're easy to find (Garden/ Festival City, One utama, The Curve, Pavillion, Berjaya time square, KLCC & more. And people are willing to queue for their faves (incl me). So go & grab a bite whenever u can yaa...

A journey to my Stars

Salam all... sorry for being M.i.A lately... Err got so many things had happened to my world.

From ups and downs, to sideways & every way. hehehe I suppose life's like that - like a merry go round & rollec coasters are pretty seem normal thing. nways hows yours?
Apart from work & few of other projects - i would say they happily keep my mind occupied & boggled up at most point. I suppose; life needs passion and to have none would be a discouraging one perhaps.

So today im all about Passion & Needs. Not gona rant on definition or most things you already know.
im just gona blabble on what i think is important for me to note. heehee.

I believe each everyone of us has a purpose being here. doesn't matter, if we're destined to be a mom, successful entrepreneur, humanitarian, sportsman, happy co-worker, smart student etc etc... Each of everyone of us at heart we know what we oughta do. sometimes, its the way we are designed, we were brought to thinking on what purpose suits us best - and what reason we most inclined towards to.

Peace in my mind

Hi guys. its been awhile since i last yak yak here. hehe.. i guess work & stuffs have been occupying us alot lately. heehee its not that i dont want to write; sometimes the "ilham" to write seems to be off at times. keeping me refreshing this site with numb-thoughts - most of the time.

So anyways hows life been for u guys? heard some of u guys got hitched; some is preggers and few is getting hitched too... congrats u guys...
haha thats life. paused blogging & missed most things haha. (ni belum off FB or E-channel yet).

For me; life's been hectic too. apart of my room got banjir - my sis had a babyshower; open house ; hub's dad got sick with op coming soon and my baby sis leaving for US very very soon! Our every weekend is packed with outings & lists of things-to-do/go. So basically we had a non-step productive week from mon to sun and no rest ok. the rest we had was squeezing in between sleeping hours before 10am on sunday. sigh. i miss sleeping all day!

Besides all that; i let my head run around looking for opportunities & ideas most of my waking time. Yela since i decided to exit my other project the otherday (Proj PPA); my mind always boggles to find ways to make another. haha. sometimes i cant help it.

Anyways of course we always try to make new deals / new project, then we faced with new challenges pulak. Life's usual. nothing is calm without any setbacks to test our patience. Those were moments i feel like strangling someone or even yelling so much inside. But often i remind myself to keep calm & collected cos in the end of the day; patience is the key to everything.

So here i am ranting on a thursday afternoon wondering if i am ready to take the next step. You see, when comes to BIG MONEY... you actually sit back &; think twice. eh chop; think 5x. So here i am giving a deep thought about it.

Maybe to some individuals; they should be considered luckier & easier to make such decision cos they got BIG BACKUPS or EXPERIENCE BACKUPS (demmit lucky u guysss...) But for some of us; taking one step ahead is like walking into the cave darkness. torched with our bare eyes and perhaps a dim candle. So, before we plunge.. lets think first shall we?

Plus to invest in SOMETHING BIG, its gona take a another BIG COMMITMENT. and not easy to backout in event our problems & touchwood - failire..(nooooo) That is why a wisemen told me; "Sometimes when things get doubtful; u take a step back; doesnt mean neccesarily you give up or lost hope. Sometimes you just want to take a deep breath &; figure your next step."

So in time we realise what is our next strategy. chewah!...

In my case; learning to be self-sufficient &; independent is my utmost lesson. plus making the plunge is the other. maybe at times; we gotta lean back & get the wise advice. cos of course; they knew better.
and that doesnt mean they are Totally right or wrong either. Experience is made in each decision.
So in the end, experience is our gain anyway whether its sweet or bitter.

Again; when in doubt- go back to basic. go back to main objective.
So whenever i find myself wondering -- i take a deep breath &; let my mind figure what it wants/should do by itself.. (our minds are brilliant to figure + solve our own problems but tooo often... fear is always standing in the mid of the way...)
and....maybe a good beach holiday should be next. ok (note-to-self: ask for holiday from hubby tonite heehee)

Since the day the late Gene Siskel asked me, "What do you know for sure?" and I got all flustered and started stuttering and couldn't come up with an answer, I've never stopped asking myself that question. And every month I must find yet another answer. Some months I feel I hardly know a thing, and I'm always pressed to make the deadline for this column. This time around, I looked back and came up with my all-time top 20:

1. What you put out comes back all the time, no matter what. (This is my creed.) - i find this very true most of the time. the very best common saying is "what goes around comes around"....

2. You define your own life. Don't let other people write your script. - Yes always remember its our life we deal with everyday. not them, not him, not her, not anyone even parents or significant other. So noone is entitled to make your life the way they want it except if you allow them okes!

3. Whatever someone did to you in the past has no power over the present. Only you give it power. - True. sometimes people have the tendency to influence our thoughts or even cloud our judgment. We must learn to seperate those who have done us harm in the past not to allow them to meddle in our present & yet our future...

4. When people show you who they are, believe them the first time. (A lesson from Maya Angelou.) - Its amazing on how actions speaks much louder & clearer than the promises given. Always take action over words anytime.

5. Worrying is wasted time. Use the same energy for doing something about whatever worries you. When we do something about it; we are actually figuring out how to solve the issue.

6. What you believe has more power than what you dream or wish or hope for. You become what you believe. Believe is a very powerful source of the mind. Untap the power. We can be whoever & whatever we want. Just believe.

7. If the only prayer you ever say is thank you, that will be enough. (From the German theologian and humanist Meister Eckhart.) Of course it would be much better we include our wishes after the prayers.. so that Al-mighty can give us what we actually want. Nobody is good at guessing games.

8. The happiness you feel is in direct proportion to the love you give. We get what we give. simple methology. So give lotsa love to receive lotsa happiness...

9. Failure is a signpost to turn you in another direction. Often we mourn so much on the failure (i prefer to call it "setbacks/challenges"); we become blinded to the opportunities ahead us. When facing a setback, by all means; we need to find new strategies to build up again.

10. If you make a choice that goes against what everyone else thinks, the world will not fall apart. We may view the world from the way we see them. It may look like it is falling apart - but no. it wont if we dont allow it to.

11. Trust your instincts. Intuition doesn't lie. Our gut feelings always have a say in most decisions we make. The twinge in the stomach; the butterflies.. the migrains.. Basically they know & they're all trying to tell us something. Do hear them out.

12. Love yourself and then learn to extend that love to others in every encounter. The more we love ourselves; the more we can give love. the more happier we can be; the more love we can get....and the more love we give....its one big circle of looooove....

13. Let passion drive your profession. **My fave quote amongst all. Life with no passion is like no life at all. The same goes for love...

14. Find a way to get paid for doing what you love. Then every paycheck will be a bonus. When we have love & passion in what we do; happiness & paycheck has its way to comeback to us...

15. Love doesn't hurt. It feels really good. A real love is about joy & happiness. No love comes from bitterness, anger, hatred, jealousy & resentments.

16. Every day brings a chance to start over. Who says its impossible to start over? The future is still yet unknown & today is your chance to make the change. No, its never ever too late.

17. Being a mother is the hardest job on earth. Women everywhere must declare it so. Thats why in Islam; heaven is right under mum's foot (tapak kaki). The love of a mother is beyond imagination & indescribable....the true meaning of unconditional love!

18. Doubt means don't. Don't move. Don't answer. Don't rush forward. There is a really good reason when we are in doubt. means we're simply not ready to move forward or even make that step. Next is to ask why?

19. When you don't know what to do, get still. The answer will come. Take a deep breath & believe there is a solution in every problem. Even in Quran says: there is a cure to every disease.. just the matter of finding it..

20. "Trouble don't last always." (A line from a Negro spiritual, which calls to mind another favorite: This, too, shall pass.) - Agree. this too shall pass. Everything will be okay. Trust yourself and believe. it will be. Eventually.

Weekend updates yang Raya!

Hi all.

lama tak nampak. heehee. sorry been occupied these days with Raya. last weekend was super hectic for us. We had guests over non-stop from Friday nite until Monday morning. Imagine the havocness... the cleaning, cooking, serving and back to cleaning... whoaa... so much to handle, wished we got octopus hands haha...

So hows your weekend? yours like ours? full of open houses & makan2 galore ?? sigh... 3 more weeks to go...

Nyways apart from all that; we're still being us... doing our own thing & surviving in this big big world.

Well raya food has definitely caught up with us... that its harder to diet now... hahaha and of course i so loves the fact that we're working 4 days a week this week! hurray!
now i shall proudly call meself a Malaysian chewah!

P/s: there were the days when angin beliung taufan arrived at my door. There were times my tiang tiang also roboh and causing chaos. Those were the days we realised we gotta stand tall, swallow and carry on.
Gulp. Life's full of hard lessons. Let's quit making it more complicated than it already is. :)

Cat Boarding cruelty news ;-(

Hi all.

im so distraught over the cat cruelty news swarming our FB & media regarding this Cat Boarding house called Petknode Boarding centre. It seems so inhuman for doing so to these animals. Sadly greed has caused so much to harm to these poor innocent creatures. what have they done to deserve such torture? i hope the owners of the Petknode boarding gets what he deserve; either here or after life.

Anyways to summ up- these cats are originally owner's pets and been send for pet boarding for the hari raya festivities. The PCB (Petknode cat boarding) operates online shop & offers bookings for pet boarding in affordable prices from RM3.99 to RM13.99. Most owners away from holidays booked for long period of time without realising the "too good to be true deals".

How it arose suspicious of these wrong doings?

When some pets were returned in bad shape & owners decided to investigate further led to the boarding house location where most of the cats 300+ boarded were found; abandoned in cages for 9 days, dehydrated & traumatised. The saddest part- 16 died (including kittens & nursing mothers). Omg.. teribble right. im so cursing the PCB owner! i hope he rott in hell!..

I'm helping Kucing Terbiar Anjing Jalanan to ask for your help to post on your blog and urge those who board their cats at Petknode to collect their pet immediately at Balai Polis Sg Pelong Paya Jaras.

Owner of the boarding premise no way to be found, more than 90 cats inside the pet shop, 9 kittens/cat were found dead, some alive were thrown outside of the shop ,inside a carrier..some were missing.. Location of Petknode is at Damansara Damai (from KTAJ facebook info). KTAJ needs more volunteers to help in shifting the pets too, they are short of volunteers now..

I'm in phone contact with Maslinda and Bella (of KTAJ). I've offered our subsidy for the cats who need immediate medical attention. For the sake of saving their lives, the sick cats ought to be send to the vet immediately.

According to information received, the owners had left food supply for their pets, but the cats were not fed. Some owners are still overseas right now, and pleading for help to rescue their cats.

It is confirmed that 9 cats/kittens have died. The owner of the boarding house has been located already. Some of the cats are currently at the police station.

Updates at 3.20pm - I have contacted our vet at Kinrara. He may have a sporo case so he can only take 3-4 cats and would need physical help with cleaning the cats, etc.

Our Subang vet can also help, but only at 8.30pm tonight.

Meanwhile, the rescuers have located a nearer vet. I hope they are now sending the cats there. We'll pledge for the expenses for now so that the cats can be treated first. We hope the owners will take back their cats as soon as possible.

helo guys. sorry lambat posting raya hehe. hows' your raya so far? best beraye di kampung halaman with the family? hope u guys having a fab raya...
Nways mine was a total new experience for me beraya with my In-Laws for the first time. everyone's has the first right?...

So overall it was ok. it was different cup of tea to kinda raya i usually celebrate. First time minus ketupat, kuah kacang, ayam kicap & serunding mama. Cos northerns more on rendang, laksa, mee etc etc...

Apart from the lemang & rendang cooking (head chef - my MIL) and hubs; there were lots of pic snapping; fam potraits & raya-ing In Laws relatives place. it was a typical raya of visiting with a new version of food. (if back home - Johor serves ketupat only kot hehe)

oh... i miss them too

Sometimes when we do/say stuff; we may not realised we have hurt some individuals or made an ugly impression out of them. Most times when we become ourselves; it is when some people find their opportunity to judge us and make a decision of us.

Life is like that. full of pretty things, pretense and ugliness. its up to us to decide who we want to keep in our lives; who we would want to butt out from and who we want to kick to the curb to. my point here it is up to us to see who we want to see. no bias no judgment.

Of course; there will be so many busybodies & interested parties who wana keep poking into our lives- so that we either always at par with them, or perhaps beneath them. To them they will always have the need to be superior than others, and to win. Plus its not surprise they are the ones who would love to see you fall; laugh & even tell the world about it. hah.

But i suppose life is always full of shit & roses. Nothings permanent. nothing stays. nothing is stable.

and of course there is always one thing we can count ON no matter how dark the days go by; and how terrible life comes. It is the Al-Mighty; our natural creator and ourselves- our Heart, our heart feeling.

If we believe we are pure in such way; wash ourselves from these terrible lies & other people's judgment. Live our lives, and be who we are without bias. and cut those ties away; then perhaps life wouldnt be so bad after all.

and dont forget the gut feelings. whenever the twinge of heart is telling you something. dont ignore it cos deep down we always knew and can see others through.

We had a buka puasa gathering at my place last sunday. everyone brought their DIY food for buka. more like a big potluck feast for us hehe. From my side (& hubs); we cooked tomyam (yee mee, jap mee) and pizza. From my parents: nasi ayam & kuehs. from sis & hubs: japanese riceballs & lobster mornay pasta. and from youngest sibling; she brought our specialty fruit punch.

Imagine the food galore all over my place. it was an awesome nite. thanks u guys. had fun & ofcourse thanks to my elves (helped me around the house too)..

Hi peeps. its thursday & im groaning. arghh.. maybe its thursdays blues for me...tsk tsk..
Sigh I had a cat-issue morning. sigh. its frustrating when its shit happens not under your control & worst its not your cat either. pissed and bitter. yah, im sooo having an angry bird moment.

Anyways hope u guys having a fab week so far. mine was more flu-battling. hehe. cos its the fasting month & i guess our body is easy prone to illness & jangkitan demam orang. hehe.

They say the first week was the hardest. our was 2nd cos my house got FLU-ed. parents & sibling got sick so its easy for the bug to get around. and plus waking up at 5am when u sleep at 12am is not working either. Body needs rest but mind cant do so.

So guys hows the prayer goin? i hope most of u busy visiting the mosque & do good (lotsaa). Sometimes we forgot that we get absorbed with our working lives too much- we forgot to take a step back; take a deep breath & smell the roses.I suppose it aint easy to curb angry bird moods during this holy month rite? I guess. no harm trying. patience 101 needed.

Apart from fasting yak yak, im more future thinking these days. i guess at some point, we all wana move on from Point A to Point B. Question is; do we have what it takes to make that move? or are we plain cowards / plain happy in that comfort zone. err... u tell me.

I suppose then again depends on a person's desire & dream. Some of us dream of big star rising above.. and some of us desire to make a difference; to change the world from the way it is. and most of us are just chasing stars hoping someday it will be our falling star.

Ola ola.. hows ur weekend guys. hope u guys didnt get stuck in the havoc in KL city centre on 9th.. there were roadblocks everywhere.. i even heard the police arrested many civilians.. arghh that sucks if u happen to be in the wrong place at wrong time...

My Saturday was much home based one.. (since heavy traffic/ close everywhere) we stayed in and made it up yesterday with errands & meetings.

Anyways since its monday (& most of us got monday bluesss) i thought i'd like to share some personal opinions of mine...First - to all the followers; thanks a million for always making time to read..hehe u guys the best.:)

Second i wana address about Rumors that begins with nothing ends with something spicy & hurtful ---

Im sure we all are technological wired these days - everyone is connected through anyone - Either via FB - twitter webpages, blog & many more. Sometimes its too easy to get info of someone; just by clicking their info page & u get a glimpse of their lives.

Not only the biodata.. also the pictures... the activities that written all over those pages we've been connected with. Well becos its too easy to get info; its very easy to convey them, interpret them and also misunderstood about them.

Eg: A picture of a Celeb partying with friends, wearing sleeveless & laughing (oh & guys in the pics too)(Eg The Nora Elena actress scandal pics....)

What she may be portrayed by the pics as?

a) she's partyholic (party tak ingat dunia)

b) she'a an alcoholic (u saw the bottle on the table)

c) she doesnt have morals (skimpy clothes she & her friends wore)

d) she's a social person (lots of guys around her.. )

Haha. if only pictures tells the truth story of that girl. .
So truth was she:
a) she partied cos she just finished her exams (been studying / not going out of house the past 3 months) or she might just graduated
b) she only had coca cola. (the bottle wasnt hers - at all)
c) she had a sweater with her which she took it off (cos it was stuffy in there)
d) her college mates are guys & they've been friends for years.

See? we live in a prejudice world. For years people have misjudged and misunderstood others; giving misconception and lies all over without justice. would it be nice to be more civil & let it be?
sadly... some society just love talking negative about others.

Im sadden cos i too am also a victim to this nonsense. Not that i partied or even do anything illegal. Haih...
Its frustrating to know there are some individuals who enjoy spreading lies & stories about others. Sadly they claim they are 'religious' and ' know it all' but
look at the mirror. if you're so know it all - why are u talking about others? buat dosa? tula org melayu.. tau buat cerite tambah salt & pepper. thats what happens when envy + jealousy masuk kepala.

So kepada berkenaan; i hope u come to realization of your lies.

Hi y'all. hows your mid week going? any crisis so far? Any weird stuff going on in the office? haih

Its been chaos in the office lately. with shortage of staff eversince they exited our co; more work has been piling on us. Once we had 1 job scope now 2-3 is a norm in the office. Word is we gona be 'fire fighting' for the next few months .. and im hoping they find someone soon before everything else breaks loose. (or it already has?)

I too not exceptional case from this multi-job & tasks. Moving offices too.. apart from my own office; i have to switch in between desks to be in the Operations side.. also learning more technical stuff which i didnt learn from my business school. hmm makes me wonder if i had chosen the wrong profession from the very beginning...

Well.. they say my kinda field work is kinda messy. well... we gotta fly with bees; swim with the sharks. Gotta absorb lots like a sponge. Ok. my new vocab for the week "im ms spongebob!"

So since im all blabbering about work today..For all those feeling overwhelmed, read on some tips for multi-tasking we should learn from-- without losing your mind.

You can, as the song says, bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, do eight things at once (seven more than your man). But as you'll discover, more is not merrier.

"Where's the restaurant we're meeting at?" Your husband's on the phone as you scramble to finish a last-minute client proposal and root around for your lipstick. You give him directions while reading the five e-mails your boss just sent and trying to decipher the "something came up" text message from the babysitter. Multitasking has practically become an Olympic sport. But new science suggests it's not always a winning game.

A recent study in the British Medical Journal, for example, found that people talking on cell phones while driving were four times more likely to have car accidents resulting in hospitalization than other motorists. Road safety may be an extreme example, but it underscores a larger point. Research shows that we consistently perform better and faster when tasks are done successively, rather than all at once. A new study is shedding light on why. "We've identified a kind of bottleneck in the prefrontal cortex of the brain that forces people to address problems one after the other, even if they're doing it so fast it feels simultaneous," says René Marois, PhD, associate professor of psychology and neuroscience at Vanderbilt University and coauthor of the study. "This explains why previous data shows brain activity going down instead of up with each new challenge—it's like a mental traffic jam." Unfortunately, life isn't slowing down.

Don't Try to Learn
"Results are always worse when you multitask, but in some areas they're especially compromised," says Russell Poldrack, PhD, associate professor of psychology at UCLA. Learning takes a big hit, for instance. "Our research shows that if you try to master something while splitting your attention, brain activity switches regions—from memory building to short-term habit making," he says.

A good rule of thumb is to multitask what you want to execute, rather than absorb, and choose jobs where mistakes won't matter.

Pair Different Kinds of Task It may seem counterintuitive, but similarities make multitasking harder, according to Poldrack. Before getting to the bottleneck, mental processes often originate in different parts of the brain. Pick two from the same area and they can become garbled. For example, you may enjoy reading with music on, but if you time yourself, you'll likely turn the pages much faster when there are no lyrics to distract you from the text.
Try to match projects with different modalities—like reviewing a report while on the stationary bike.

Prioritize Air Force cadets trained to pay attention to specific aspects of a video game performed better in actual flight than others who just played the game, one study showed. "Focusing on each task's relative importance allows you to allocate your resources for maximum efficiency," says Poldrack.

Make One Job RoutineTech-dexterous teenagers are probably no better wired to ace computer games than the rest of us; they've just spent more time practicing with their gadgets, says Marois. Researchers believe that if you repeat a set of skills over and over in exactly the same order and way, you will get noticeably better.

Try to make at least one task something you do all the time. This allows you to fit the others into an already established pattern.

My dad always taught us to be humble and remember where we come from. and everytime if i soar up too high; his words will keep me grounded and back to reality. And of course it makes us human and always not to look down on others. That's why we must pray often; cos the more we have our feets solely on earth; the more grateful and thankful we are to the creator Almighty.

Hadith once said; Pride is One Human's worst terrible traits. As pride makes them forgot who they are and live in a world of sin without fear. which that makes a disgrace and hate most by Allah.

So to those yang berbangga ngan their status, wealth & their success, may you get a realization how temporary all that was. Anything we own on this world is never actually ours. Astagfirullah.

As this year goes to the middle calender, my only wish is to get something big for myself like i always do. Minus out branded handbags, stylo shoes, and savvy clothes; you see every year i treat myself a big unforgettable birthday pressie. And eversince i keep up with this trend , i find it good excuse & good motivation to save and splurge at the same time. Haha jgn mareee...we women always find some excuse to shop. believe me there's always something in our sleeves - at all times. huhuu

Point is - this something Big must not be consumable like clothes, shoes or books. it has to be something that i can use for the next 4-5 years. Be it house gadgets or car or even electronic, the purpose is for my Needs. hehe

So here's My wishlist 2011 -2012... at first i was contemplating on Oven & Lappie... and now i realised maybe i need a lappie more...

waaa...for now im so torn between a Macbook Air and a Sony Vaio Pink...

the most worry part is Macbook Air doesnt come in pink unless we Colorware it. But its pricey lah..

hmmm.... and Mac has all the stuff i need... especially when it comes to the softwares...

Sony on the other hand comes in PINK,

not bad for their features & specs.. and its also available.

But which performance does better??

i wana TF toooo!

Hi guys! its been awhile since i last blab here. Sorry been occupied this week.. and tak cukup tangan wana blog. hehe. well i thought i wana add a lil bit this morning.
Nways i have revamped this blog to my current liking at the moment. Tis time i opt for soft backgrd color with dark edges. feel that i want to explore other colors besides maroon n pink.. & voila.. its brownish pink! heheeh

Do you have pets at home? Or do you want to get pets? Is litter the reason being not to have them? I personally think hygiene is most important when you have pets in the house. Even with pets around you, i still believe clean hygiene is possible. Scrap all those conventional saying having em' & messing around the house or the litter boxes.I think that relates to how we train them. And think most important is we want to keep up the hygiene in the house.

Do you know cats are among the cleanest animal of all animal creature? That explains their fur licking habits all times kann?? Amazingly my cats gets all excited and happy every single time we mop the house (their turf especially), throw their litter & give them fresh water + food... so who says they're sloppy & messy?

So anyways here's among the best auto litter boxes i found on internet. Quite handy and convenience for us pet owners. I guess these keeps us out of scooping and the smelling.. keeps us all cleaned.... hehe me like!

Anyways for those of you with MANUAL litter cleaning, here are tips for you.

Cleaning the litter once-twice a day is a MUST to maintain hygiene.
For busy2 days; max Cleaning is 3 days cos after that the smell will start go around.
Also get Litter Deodorant as it helps to neutralize + gives a nicer aroma scent. (Put some on tray before you put in the litter)
Best is to get litter in plastic box which covers up like a box & a door, would help to contain the smell. Pet shop retailers also sell the charcoal bag (to absorb smell)
Fresh water is a MUST - daily.
Food tray also need to add ons (dont put too much as it can get LEMAU)
Dont over put wet can food (ensure the cats finish them right away - leftovers wetfood can cause bacteria + flies)
Mop + clean house at least TWICE a week to dust of the fur and the litter dirt. (still gotta clean the house anyways right?)

SAY NO to File Sharing Website Ban!

Halo halo. its been quite havoc the past few days in Malaysia.. with all the hype by the Malaysia Govt (SKMM & MCMC) for banning file sharing and anything that has to do with downloading files from any sites... which they claim the reason being is to reduce the high piracy in Asia countries.

My opinion... Govt's initiative to do so is BULLSHIT. seriously.. the policy makers are so backward that they have no idea what are they doing at this 21st century.

To think by banning will reduce piracy and all? err.. don't think so. Funny part, they're creating more and more pissed off hackers which will come up something GENIUS soon. im sure...:) that is why they're doing is definitely POINTLESS

As a file sharing user, of course i object.. cos through File sharing i get to see all my fave old teevee shows, old movies and the latest shows by the US. Not that im downloading. im just STREAMING!

Point is; govt should have think wisely before jumping the gun. Promoting 1Malaysia Multimedia SuperCorridor Status, yet limiting the nation's usage? Arent u so contradicting? And now spending RM1.8 milion for FB which is already FREE?

even if u gotta do marketing promotion; i dont think expenditure goes up to that amount. *shake head

PETALING JAYA: In a bid to combat piracy, the Government has declared war on filesharing websites with 10 such websites now blocked by the telecommunications industry watchdog.

The websites were among the most visited sites by Malaysians to illegally download movies.

On May 30, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) had written a letter to all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) ordering the block.

The letter was signed by Digital Security Services division acting senior director Eneng Faridah Iskandar.

The letter, which was leaked online, also stated that the websites were being blocked for breaching Section 41 of the Copyright Act 1987, which deals with pirated content.

An MCMC spokesperson confirmed the ban and said it was done on the request of the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry.

The ministry's enforcement division director-general Mohd Roslan Mahayudin confirmed that the request was made.

“It is standard procedure for the ministry to request MCMC to block sites that violate the Copyright Act 1987,” he told The Star.

Roslan said the ministry had requested that 19 websites, including the 10 listed in the letter, be blocked for violating the Act but added that it was up to MCMC to decide on which ones to block.

When asked about the fate of surfers who legally use the websites such as for storing non-pirated content, Mohd Roslan said they could always write to the ministry.

“Anyone who feels the ban is wrong can write to us and we will look into it,” he said.

Film maker Norman Abd Halim of KRU Studios said the move was long overdue.

“The unauthorised use of copyright work is destroying the industry. If everyone feels that works should be shared, then there is no value in these works,” he said.

Norman equated the move to South Korea's three-strikes law, where a person guilty of copyright infringement can have their Internet access suspended for six months.

However, irate users have vented their frustration by creating aFacebook page to protest.

By 8.30pm yesterday, there were 410 supporters who “liked” the page that was named “1M Malaysians Don't Want Block File Sharing Websites.”

FilesTube Media Search Engine, one of the sites ordered blocked, also commented on the page.

“We have posted information about this on our wall. We are with you.”

Before the page was put up, some Malaysians were already protesting via Twitter.

“You can't create a walled-up Internet garden,” read one tweet.

Some also made reference to the MSC Malaysia Bill of Guarantees which states that the Government will not censor the Internet.

MSC Malaysia is a national initiative that kicked off in 1996 and is aimed at transforming the nation into a knowledge-based economy.

FACEBOOK PAGE TO PROTECT FILE SHARING WEBSITE BAN IN MALAYSIA

Thanks to Facebook, a throng of over 8000 Malaysians can gather online and let their voices be heard. This particular meeting was triggered by the recent file sharing website ban imposed by SKKM, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.

TorrentFreak reported that a memo was sent to Internet Service Providers to ban ten file sharing websites, including Pirate Bay and Megaupload. The decision was made to reducepornographic content and most likely also to battle against piracy content on the Internet. But to many Malaysians (especially to those who ‘like’ the Facebook page) blocking the pornography websites makes more sense. From the DontBockFS Facebook page:

MCMC has released an official order to block access to file sharing web sites to all ISPs in Malaysia. The move is quite drastic and will surely enrage internet users in Malaysia. The page was created yesterday and has so far gathered more than 8,000 supporters. It hit 7,000 today at about 2.30pm in the afternoon (GMT +8) which the folks “celebrated” with a graph.

espite the huge reaction from Malaysians, Karyawan president Datuk Freddie Fernandez said the ban was a “tremendous move” by the Government.

“The music industry definitely applauds this decision because filesharing is against the law. It is piracy,” he said. The ten websites within the memo are:

This isn’t the first time that Malaysians gathered together on Facebook to protest against Internet-related decisions made by the government. In April, the government introduced1Malaysia email which gives citizens an email account dedicated to receiving official governmental documents. The program which cost $50 million Ringgit ($16 million), caused a stir on Facebook as well. Many believe that the money can be invested in other much needed areas, such as improving Internet access in the country. One Facebook user said, “Dear PM there’s something called Gmail.”

Helo wednesday! u're back again and before we know it... weekend is popping by soon :) huhu..

Its been a long week for me this week. More like deadlines & worries.. and of course challenges ...

i guess biasela life; not many share the same opinion & views like us.

Some choose to say plain No, some like to go around the bush with their many2 reasons and perhaps there are few who just simply don't care (pretend kot) or keep their plain mouth shut.

This week was among one of life lessons we all should take note in event of a conflict.

and no; i aint gona ramble & openly criticize anyone here. sory la not my kinda cup.

Well we all know friendships are 2 ways. when one party wana be friends; the other reciprocate.

One ask for coffee this time, the other asks for lunch nextime. truth is: not easy to keep doin so in our busy busy as bee lives. But again i point this out; friendship is both ways.

So when one friend decides to unfriend the other party, what should the other do?

So they should move on. make new friends and forget the effort despite being friends the past 10 years. (shish. thinking about 10years is a long time to throw that kinda frenship kannn)

but to what extend can we keep a friendship lasting despite all conflicts arising, jealousy & envy? To what extend when nobody wana give and jus wana take?

So here's one thing they dont teach us in school.

when one friend turns their back on us; backstabbing us, talks behind our back and be fake, always need us but not there when we need them, asking for favor that makes life difficult, keeps us in trouble, friends for the money, fame or for the peer pressure and worst hasut us to make bad decisions and list goes on... then we Must know that is Not a Friend. infact they're foes who keep us in their lives for their benefit. i call em' leeches. dad calls em' dream stealers

To me real friendship is much deeper than all that. Friends who stood by u and u stood by them all years knowing their real character and yet stick by u no matter what. and of course what is life without the drama.. even mishaps, miscommunication and girl fight. but real friends stays. despite all that. nonetheless.

Of course there are some friends that we should keep them at arm's length. knowing who they really are perhaps put us in the other side of the wall. then again maybe we didn't have that chance to get to know them better. we should if we have that chance. for all u know u might got so much in common!...

So morale of story i think life is too short to make Frenemies (frens turned to enemies). i know quite some people who brings with them Mean girls + high school attitude to their adult lives. And in the end i pity them cos all they ever want to do is get tangled up in their high school drama, which is full of crap.

So to all my friends out there; whoever & wherever u are; if i ever offended u or not in purpose salah cakap, ter perli, ter makan and ter act in whatever way which may have hurt u - id like to apologize. Sometimes in life; we tend to do stuff/say things we dont realise...so here is my public apology okeees...

One thing i learnt from my dad -- jus bcos the person hurt u doesnt mean we can stoop low to their level.

plus we never know what we will become or they will become in the next years to come.

Cos nabi always say Jangan Taksub or Bongkak. So its better to stay friends or neutral for least.

So to summ up; life is tooo shortt to make any enemies. live life and be happy. if some 'so-called frens' dont like us being happy and drag us down with em; ignore them (not worth fighting for) and make new real frens.
